NexN Coated Urea
NexN Coated Urea is a high-performance nitrogen fertiliser consisting of urea granules coated with the urease inhibitor nBPT (N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide). The inhibitor works by temporarily slowing the activity of the urease enzyme, reducing nitrogen losses through ammonia volatilisation following application. This allows more nitrogen to remain available in the soil for plant uptake. NexN Coated Urea is designed to improve nitrogen use efficiency, particularly in conditions where volatilisation losses are high, such as warm temperatures, moist soils, and surface applications without incorporation.

Usage and Application Methods
Apply according to soil test results and agronomic recommendations.
Typical application rates: Sheep, beef and deer pasture: 60 – 200 kg/ha per application
Arable: 100 – 250 kg/ha depending on crop demand
Application guidance: Apply evenly using standard spreaders. Can be applied aerially or by ground. Greater flexibility in timing compared to standard urea.
Best use conditions where rainfall is not guaranteed immediately after application, soil moisture is present but surface incorporation is limited, and temperatures are warm, increasing volatilisation risk.
